The hidden history of Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola. Once home to the Farnese nobles, popes and cardinals. Also home to the Deacon-Baldwin family from Boston: Gladys Deacon,a famous beauty in the early 1900s, went on to marry the Duke of Marlborough. Her story is one of many fascinating ones told in Mary Jane’s latest book, in Italian, “Etruria Storie e Segreti”.
